Because your daughter deserves more than survival—she deserves confidence, clarity, and community.
Teen girls today are growing up in a world louder than ever before. A world filled with filtered images, peer pressure disguised as friendship, and constant noise telling them who they should be—without giving them the tools to stand firm in who they are.
At school, they learn equations and grammar. But what about how to speak up with confidence? What about how to set boundaries, handle peer pressure, or care for their changing bodies with dignity? These essential life skills are often left to chance—and yet they’re the very foundation for strong, confident women.
That’s where life skills workshops come in. They’re not a luxury. They’re not a bonus. They are a necessity.
What We Often Overlook:
- A girl who dresses boldly may just be seeking attention she doesn’t receive at home.
- A girl who’s constantly comparing herself online may not know her own worth.
- A girl who’s silently struggling with menstrual hygiene may be carrying shame she doesn’t deserve.
When we bring these conversations into the open—through community, sisterhood, and structured learning—we give girls something powerful: permission to be themselves, and tools to grow with grace.
Introducing “Girl, Take Charge”
Under the Shanda Initiative, we’re hosting a one-day in-person workshop designed to help teen girls (ages 13–19) build life skills that last.
What’s in store:
- Self-Worth & Identity Building
- Handling Peer Pressure & Friendships
- Menstrual Hygiene & Body Confidence
- Grooming, Dressing & Etiquette
- Career Talks, Goal Setting, and a Q&A with inspiring older sisters
Because when a girl feels safe, seen, and supported—she doesn’t just survive the world… she starts to shape it.
